WRITTEN OR VERBAL INSTRUCTION TO COMMENCE WORK IN RECEIPT OF A QUOTATION, CONSTITUTES A CONTRACT AND MEANS ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS, CONDITIONS AND PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS AS WRITTEN BELOW.
Product Warranties
All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Carter’s Pressure Washing makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, Carter’s Pressure Washing should be notified immediately.
Concrete
The appearance of concrete depends on a number of factors most linked to when the concrete was initially poured and cured. When concrete with dirt, mold, mildew, algae and other pollutants and stains is cleaned, the concrete will then reveal any and all imperfections that the pollutants and stains have covered up. The customer understands that not all concrete will look the same even on the same driveway, patio, pathway, or concrete slab.
Garage Doors
Due to the nature of the cleaning process, water may enter underneath garage doors. Carter’s Pressure Washing is not responsible for damage to any items stored behind the garage door. It is the property owners’ responsibility to move any valuable items before cleaning.
Water Supply
To be able to clean, we need access to an outdoor tap. We can on occasions use a kitchen tap providing we are able to secure a connection. Carter’s Pressure Washing accepts NO responsibility for water leakage when an indoor tap is used. If access to an outdoor tap requires the hose to run through the property, Carter’s Pressure Washing accepts NO responsibility for potential water damage within the house. As the owner you take the liability upon yourself in the event of a leak.
If permission is given to Carter’s Pressure Washing to use a tap, Carter’s Pressure Washing is not liable for any part of the customers water bill, this is the property owners’ responsibility. No compensation will be given.

Windows
Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is NOT included unless booked. We do however rinse windows at the end of the job to remove any dirt that may have splashed onto them.
Stains:
Some stains cannot be removed by pressure washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting on the project. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all and sometimes stains can not be seen until we have removed the dirt that has been covering them.
Damage
Pressure washing can remove any loose or weakened pointing, grout or surface layer. When pressure washing near buildings any loose or flaking paint can easily be blown off of walls. Although every measure is taken to reduce the risk of these events occurring, Carter’s Pressure Washing will accept no responsibility if these events occur. Pressure washing can reveal pre-existing damage to the surfaces that are being cleaned. The company accepts no responsibility for pre-existing damage that may be revealed during pressure washing or at any time after the pressure washing is complete. Carter’s Pressure Washing shall only be obligated under this Contract for structural damages which are a direct result of operator error, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct. Damages must be discovered and reported within 2 calendar days of said completion. Upon receipt of written notice, The Company shall be allowed 30 calendar days from date of receipt for the purpose of inspecting the premises. Carter’s Pressure Washing shall have sole option of repairing or contracting repair work to correcting any structural damages that are a direct result of the Company. It is agreed that the company’s liability will not exceed the cost of the service. If water intrusion occurs, the company will not be held responsible. We make every effort to prevent this but due to unavoidable issues such as bad seals around windows and doors and cracks in concrete foundations this can be unavoidable. The home owner must notify the company if there are any surfaces on or near the property that cannot have any form of our cleaning solution on them. If we are failed to be notified of this, the company is not responsible for any ill effect on any surfaces. In most cases we are happy to help with removing items such as furniture, plant pots, ornaments from the area to be cleaned, We try our best to be as careful as possible, Carter’s Pressure Washing will not be liable for any damage caused by moving any of the customers items.
Payments
Unless agreed otherwise, all invoices are due within 7 days of the invoice date. We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest (at 8% over the Bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment legislation if we are not paid according to our agreed terms. A cancellation fee will be assessed if client cancels service without 24-hour notice, or if the company arrives and cannot wash due to being unable to access water or the areas needing to be cleaned. This would be 10% of the total job amount.
Parking
Whilst our team are working at your property, we require somewhere close to park to allow us to work out of our vehicle. If we are unable to park on site for example a driveway or compound then it is the customers responsibility to provide the team with a permit for on road parking where required. We are not liable for any PCN’s or other fines whilst working at your property. If a permit is not provided and Carter’s receives a fine or PCN then this will be added to the final invoice.
